In-Home Family Session with The Ritterbands | Candid Tampa Lifestyle Photography
There is nothing quite like being welcomed back into a family’s home year after year to document their story as it grows. My time with the Ritterband family goes all the way back to their engagement, through their intimate COVID wedding, their full celebration, and then into their maternity and newborn sessions. Being there for every major milestone has been an absolute honor, but getting to hang out for a quiet Sunday evening at home was easily one of my favorite moments with them yet.
For this session, there were no expectations or rigid routines—just letting the girls and the pups run free. We captured the absolute sweetness of everyday life: swinging in the yard, cozy playroom cuddles, sticky lollipop smiles, and colorful sidewalk chalk art on the driveway.
As a family photographer, my goal is always to center on connection, lifestyle, and turning real moments into art. Capturing families in the spaces where they feel most safe and at ease creates photos that feel like pure nostalgia.
Sessions at home take all the pressure off. Toddlers can move at their own pace, pets get to be part of the memories, and the simple things—like sharing a lollipop or drawing with chalk—turn into the absolute heart of the gallery. These genuine family interactions show the truest version of your everyday life together.
