In-Home Lakeland Maternity Photographer | Playful Backyard Poolside Session
There is something deeply special about documenting a family exactly as they are, inside the home where their story is actively unfolding. For this Lakeland maternity session, we stayed right at home—capturing the beautiful transition of welcoming baby number two while celebrating their sweet girl.
This session was centered on connection, lifestyle, and turning real moments into art. We started inside their stunning mid-century modern home, where big sister got to stick colorful gems onto mom's bump before everyone piled together on the floor for kisses and laughs.
As a family photographer, my goal is always to weave your personal lifestyle into art you can look back on for generations. Keeping things unscripted and relaxed allows your toddler to play, explore, and just be themselves without any pressure.
After capturing the sweet indoor cozy moments, we stepped out into the Florida heat to cool off by the pool with some popsicles! Maternity sessions don't have to follow a standard template—if your family spends hot summer days splashing in the pool, that is exactly what we should capture.
Mom threw on a bold red swimsuit, dad tossed their daughter into the air in the water, and we finished the session around the splash pad on the patio. It was bright, full of color, vibrant energy, and genuine happiness. These real family interactions are some of my favorite to capture and show the truest version of your everyday life.
